About Fosroc Lokfix P Anchor Grouting Compound, For Construction, 500ml
Main UsesSupplied in pre-measured quantities, the material cures quickly to give consistent, high performance anchorages. The two versions of Lokfix available are :
Lokfix S : Pourable grade, 25 minute gel time at 20C for use in vertical down holes where the hole is 8 to 40 mm greater in diameter than the bar.
Lokfix P : Thixotropic grade, 25 minute gel at 20C for use in overhead or horizontal holes where the hole is up to 25 mm greater in diameter than the bar. The thixotropic nature of Lokfix P reduces flow of grout out of the hole.
Advantages
- Rapid strength gain.
- Vibration resistant.
- Corrosion resistant.
- Non-expansive.
- Can be placed underwater
High-Strength Performance for AnchoringLokfix P delivers over 80 MPa compressive strength after seven days, ensuring solid anchoring for heavy-duty construction projects. Its strong bonding capabilities suit demanding applications, including securing bolts and rods into concrete, masonry, and brickwork. This grout meets international standards, ensuring reliability and structural integrity for critical construction anchoring needs.
User-Friendly Application and Fast SettingThe compound is supplied in an easy-to-use 500 ml cartridge, pre-measured to remove the guesswork from application. Using an applicator gun, users can extrude the thixotropic paste directly into anchor holes without manual mixing. The product boasts a rapid initial set time of 10-20 minutes at 20C and reaches full strength in approximately two hours, minimizing downtime on site.
Durability & Chemical ResistanceThis styrene-based polyester resin grout is engineered to withstand exposure to alkalis, dilute acids, oils, and most common chemicals encountered in construction environments. Its non-shrink formula maintains anchor integrity over time, delivering long-term resistance to environmental stresses. Lokfix P is also non-toxic when used according to safety guidelines, supporting safe handling and installation.
